Bédar
Situated in the mountain range of the same name, at the foothills of the Sierra de Filabres, Bédar dominates the plains of Los Gallardos, Turre, Antas, and by the shore, Vera, Cuevas de Almanzora, Garrucha and Mojácar. Of Islamic origin, Bédar saw times of frenzied mining activity, and is currently dedicated to agriculture and to low density tourism that finds the enchantment and calmness of old in its narrow streets and in the hills of its mountain range.
